OpenAI introduced ChatGPT Atlas — a new browser built entirely around ChatGPT, allowing users to browse, ask questions, and automate tasks directly within the browser.
It includes “browser memories,” where ChatGPT can remember context from visited sites to help with future tasks like summarizing job searches or comparing products.
Atlas features an “agent mode” that can act on behalf of the user — opening tabs and automating workflows — with built-in safeguards. It’s available on macOS, with Windows, iOS, and Android versions coming soon.

Sesame, founded by former Oculus executives, raised $250 million in Series B funding and launched a beta version of its conversational AI assistant.
Its AI voices “Maya” and “Miles” gained over one million users and generated five million minutes of natural-sounding conversations within weeks of launch.
The company is developing lightweight smart glasses to complement the assistant, focusing on creating an AI that interacts with users contextually through both voice and wearable devices.
The 2025 MacBook Pro 14 with Apple’s M5 chip offers moderate performance gains over the M4 version, with faster SSD speeds and an 8-16 % CPU improvement.
It retains the same excellent Mini-LED display, port selection, and battery life as its predecessor, making it a top-tier creative-work laptop.
While it’s ideal for users upgrading from older Macs, those with last year’s model won’t find the update significant enough to justify a switch.
Internal documents reveal Amazon’s goal to automate up to 75 % of its operations, avoiding the need to hire about 600,000 U.S. workers by 2033 and saving an estimated $12.6 billion by 2027.
The company reportedly sought to adjust its public messaging, preferring terms like “advanced technology” or “cobots” to soften the perception of replacing humans with robots.
Amazon maintains that automation plans are exploratory and that hiring continues, but experts warn this shift could make the company a net job destroyer rather than a job creator.
